Thank you for considering the Hatteras Realty Property Management Program. Our well established rental program promotes your property in many ways. Our main focus is the care we give to you, your property, and your vacationing guests. This effort is reflected both in our owner retention and our repeat guest rentals. We mail 40,000 color rental brochures in December, as well as distributing an additional 40,000 color brochures throughout the year to people visiting our office and to those making phone requests. Our entire brochure can also be accessed through our web site, www.hatterasrealty.com. By using our web site, your rental guests have instant access to all of the features and amenities your house offers, as well as, being able to make a real time Internet reservation from the convenience of their own home. In effect, our reservation department is open 24 hours a day! Besides having the best office and resort facility locations in Avon and Hatteras, we supplement our exposure by advertising in numerous national and regional publications. Our goal is to not only maintain the quality of your vacation home but to consistently increase your yearly rental income as well.
Hatteras Realty is a performance oriented company. You can expect a higher average number of booked weeks at higher rental rates per week, more so than any other company on Hatteras Island. This is due in part to the access our guests have to our pool and tennis facility, Club Hatteras. Our intention was to create a resort-like atmosphere for our rental guests and homeowners. We had no idea how successful it would become, as the response from everyone has been remarkably positive. Even guests staying in a home with an on-site pool are using the tennis courts, playground, and snack bar. We have been able to show that most rental guests, especially those with children, are happy to pay higher rent for a home that offers access to a pool and to other recreational amenities. The best news of all is that it is 100% FREE to both you and all of your rental guests.
Our excellent performance also extends to our "Top Gun" support staff. Our reservationists are highly trained in both hospitality and in booking techniques. We have in-house service personal who can handle a wide array of maintenance calls. We also have a fleet of company trucks to insure quick response times. We consider our nationally recognized housekeeping department to be among the best in the industry. Our bookkeeping department consists of a highly qualified accounting staff backed with years of experience.
There are those who say they can get it done for you. Hatteras Realty says, “We are already doing it.” We have invested over $2,000,000 in the Resort at Club Hatteras and since we make it available for free, the only return to us is increased performance for our homeowners.
