Our hand harvested sea salt is made from fresh Atlantic ocean water from Hatteras Island. We slowly evaporate this salt water in solar ovens that have been custom made to withstand the rough weather we get here on Hatteras. This process of solar evaporation retains the mineral content of the 100% pure seasalt. The result is a clean tasting, unrefined, raw, seasalt.
